Conference Dinner

A conference dinner will be held on Thursday, July 4th at the "Rebhuhn" a typical Viennese restaurant. The restaurant is located close to the conference venue and has a long-standing tradition.

We hope that you join us for further exchange of knowledge and experience in a relaxing atmosphere.

LabVisit CReA

One of the largest research units at the Department of Art History at the University of Vienna is the Laboratory for Cognitive Research in Art History (CReA).

The Laboratory for Cognitive Research in Art History studies art historical issues on the basis of cognitive methods. Current projects are funded by the FWF, the WWTF and the ÖAW.

CreA is furthermore one of the oldest and largest institutions of its type. We use methods ranging from questionnaires to physiological measurements (especially eye-tracking) to determine how the qualities of the work (form and content), of the observer (individually and culturally), and of the context affect the beholding of aesthetic objects.

It is possible to register for a special tour at CReA with hands-on-experience via email (artandscience.kunstgeschichte@univie.ac.at). Please note that we can only offer a limited number places of for the LabVisit (first come, first served).
